ARKTIC e.V. – Alliance for Research, Knowledge Transfer and International Cooperation is a non-profit organisation based in Germany. We work in the fields of youth empowerment, non-formal education, international cooperation, and social innovation.
Our mission is to create inclusive learning opportunities that support young people, youth workers, educators, and local communities in developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to participate actively in society. We work with diverse target groups, including young people with fewer opportunities, refugees, migrants, national minorities, NEET youth, and communities facing social, economic, or geographical challenges.
Through local and international projects, ARKTIC e.V. promotes lifelong learning, intercultural dialogue, civic participation, environmental awareness, digital and media literacy, mental well-being, and sustainable development. We believe that education should be practical, participatory, and accessible to everyone.
Our activities include youth exchanges, training courses, workshops, research activities, community events, study visits, educational campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives. We use non-formal learning methods such as experiential learning, outdoor education, creative expression, group reflection, simulation games, peer learning, and community-based action.
ARKTIC e.V. has experience in developing and implementing local and international projects together with partners from across Europe and beyond. Our work covers topics such as green skills, critical thinking, fake news and media literacy, outdoor education, mental health, social inclusion, sustainability, and youth participation.
We aim to build bridges between people, organisations, and communities. By supporting cooperation, knowledge exchange, and innovative educational approaches, ARKTIC e.V. contributes to a more inclusive, democratic, and sustainable society.
